I'm only running one Elemental Designs amp on both 10's right now Ozz... that shizzzzz SLAMS! Tonight at waffle, a guy asked me if I was pushing 12's or 15's. Gain's turned way down, and volume wasn't even half way up. I'm still using a crap sony head unit, but it's 10's better than the JVC I borrowed out of the bronco. I'm looking to upgrade to a larger ported box so I can keep it between 30 & 40 hz. That little POS sealed box isn't worth a damn in the lincoln.

Lee, the bronco was actually an easy fix.... I feel like a complete incompetent fool. The timing chain was the cause for all the problems. After many months of "diagnosing" I finally came to the conclusion that when the engine was spun counter clockwise during the transmission swap, it allowed the chain to develop a great deal of slack. I could reset timing to 10°BTDC by the crank, and then reset the dizzy to #1 and the truck would roar to life like nothing was wrong with it. After turning the ignition off, and restarting it, the truck would run like crap.

The ECM never failed, the fuel pump may still be a weak link, but it runs now. I still have half a tank of gas from the time Lee & I fueled up before monkey town (Jebus that was a long time ago.....) which is part of the reason I can't/am not driving it right now.

Either way.... guess you guys want pics, aye?

how we do things at my house...

OEM chain, god only knows when, if ever it was replaced. Though it is a double roller chain (don't forget that I have a Hydraulic roller cam)

installed and ready for the timing cover:

Truck idles like , but with a little ether or fresh gas to the throttle body will scream as though I was feeding it nitrous. It'll be back up & rolling pretty soon, I just have to put money into a lot of other places right now.

Anyway, it's good to get back on here, I haven't actually been able to check out the recent posts though. How's everybody doing? Anything important I need to know about? Everybody still alive and kickin' ain't they?
